FIELD: medicine; cardiology; functional diagnostics. SUBSTANCE: in process of pressure rise in blood pressure measuring cuff put on patient's arm, oscillogram of main blood vessels is recorded over range 0.05-40 Hz, curve thus-recorded is outlined by straight lines drawn through curve peaks in curve's diastolic and systolic portions. At intersection points of straight lines in diastolic portion, from left to right, diastolic pressure and average dynamic arterial pressure are determined. At intersection points of straight lines in systolic portion of outlined contour, lateral pressure and next final systolic pressure are determined. EFFECT: method gives precise arterial pressure values. 6 dwg
