FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying echographic examination of hip joint at the level of greater trochanter with two parallel lines drawn, one of which being the line of super-exterior cotyloid cavity edge and the second one being the line running from exterior femoral neck edge. The space between them is measured to determine the degree the hip joint pathology is pronounced. The distance being equal to 1 mm, I-order dislocation is diagnosed. The distance being equal to 2-3 mm, II-order dislocation is diagnosed. The distance being equal to 4-5 mm, III-order dislocation is diagnosed. The distance being equal to 6-7 mm, IV-order dislocation is diagnosed. The distance being greater than 7 mm, V-order dislocation is diagnosed. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of diagnosis.
