FIELD: bloom rolling, mainly of corrosion resistant austenite steel. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of heating ingot, subjecting it to reverse rolling in alternating passes between smooth rolls with total elongation 2.5-2.7 and in two passes in box groove with elongation of each pass equal to 1.06-1.11. Rolling process is terminated by pass between smooth rolls with elongation 1.16-1.28. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 1 tbl
