FIELD: plastic metal working, namely production of ring blanks. SUBSTANCE: novelty is initial one-piece shells for beading rolled-off from billet but not welded from sheet. Rolling off is performed in almost isothermal conditions provided due to controlling heat loss in the result of selection of optimal combination of blank revolution number, its temperature and deformation degree. Induction heating temperature for beading is higher than rolling-off temperature by 40-120 C. Such method provides uniform structure of all cross section zones of ready product. EFFECT: high and stable degree of mechanical and operational properties of blanks. 5 cl, 2 tbl
