FIELD: plastic metal working, namely processes for making annular blanks. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of heating before expanding at temperature 950-800 C initial welded blanks of hot rolled shapes or seamless annular blanks with rectangular or channeled cross section, soaking them no less than 0.5 h, taking them out of furnace and placing between rolls of ring rolling mill; beginning warm expansion at 900-750 C. It is possible to make annular titanium alloy blanks with uniform normalized structure and stable level of mechanical properties of base metal and metal in zone of welded joint.
