FIELD: materials handling and binding. SUBSTANCE: device has frame, cantilever core, binding member feed mechanism, wire bundle compacting mechanism, binding member ends drawing together mechanism and tie-up mechanism. mechanism to clamp front end of binding member is installed in free end of cantilever core. This mechanism has fixed disk with radial slots on end face surface and spring-loaded disk with projections on end face surface. Slots and projections of disks are made with tilting in direction of movement of binding member. Wire bundle compacting mechanism has truck and carriage coupled with truck by means of travel motion mechanism. Tie-up mechanism mounted on carriage has rotating blades with shaped through slots. Truck with carriage can move together along core axle. Mechanism to draw ends of binding element together has levers installed for synchronous reciprocation in binding element feed plane. One lever is installed on cantilever core and the other, on frame of binding element feed mechanism. Binding element front end clamping mechanism is furnished with transducers.
