FIELD: medicine; immunodiagnosis; ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: method is based on determining blood characteristics, namely, establishing ratio of antibodies-to-collagens of I and II types. For this purpose, blood sample is taken from patient. Collagen of I and II types is applied into small cavities formed in polystyrene test plates, whereafter conventional immunofermentative technique is used to detect in patient's blood antibodies that are specific to collagen of I and II types during pre-operative period.
