FIELD: plastic surgery. SUBSTANCE: proposed method resides in reposition of tissues of concha auriculae by using isolated transplant constituted by cartilage of concha auriculae for closing defects of cartilaginous base of concha auriculae. As soon as transplant is placed in right place, skin flaps are applied onto cartilaginous base of concha auriculae on both sides, followed by fixing skin flaps by suturing. Prior to closing operation, concha auriculae and skin flaps are treated with 3%-buffer solution prepared by dissolving egg shell in hydrochloric acid up to pH=7.5. This treatment ensures disinfection of tissues and their primary healing without inflammatory side effects. Method shortens time period it takes to assimilate grafted tissues and to make them fully healthy; it gives good functional and cosmetic results and prevents development of inflammatory process recidivation. When used to treat two children with congenital malformation of concha auriculae, method proved its high efficiency. EFFECT: proposed method offers good option to plastic surgeon and has above-enumerated advantages.
