FIELD: fire-extinguishing facilities. SUBSTANCE: the offered method consists in simultaneous combustion of two charges, one of which has stoichiometric ratio of oxidizer and reducer, and the other, has nonstoichiometric ratio of the same components with observation of equality offered in the invention description. Ratio of masses of the first and second charges is 4: 1. In combined combustion of the first and second charges, fire-extinguishing mixture is formed ensuring extinguishing of fires of Classes A and B including subclass Al. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
