FIELD: dressing useful minerals; crushing hard and superhard rocks. SUBSTANCE: device is provided with housing 1 in the form of mirror reflector 2 having shape of a torus ellipsoidal in section. Installed on the line of inner focus of reflector 2 are pairs of electrodes 3 so that electrode gaps are equidistant from each other. Part 5 of initial material feed branch pipe 4 hermetically closes space 2 and is made of thin elastic material, for example, rubber. Deflector 2 is filled with liquid fed therein through branch pipe 8. Liquid together with gas phase is pumped out through branch pipe 9. Outer focuses of deflector 2 are matched at point 10 disposed in the crushing zone. Branch pipe 7 designed for discharging ground rocks is connected with settling sump 11 provided with branch pipe 12 for draining the process liquid and with unloading device for removing hard fraction.
