FIELD: domestic washing machines. SUBSTANCE: washing apparatus has activator with electric drive. Activator is made in the form of mobile cylindrical pontoon with cylindrical linear electric engine positioned within pontoon. Axes of pontoon and electric engine are positioned in parallel one with respect to the other. Axis of pontoon-activator is positioned higher than that of electric engine. Engine armature is connected with pontoon casing. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 dwg
