FIELD: representation of information on multielement displays. SUBSTANCE: panel of liquid-crystal display has liquid-crystal screen 21 with assemblage of picture elements III-144, multiplexer 13, shift register 25, decoder 17, univibrator 18, AND gate 19, counted and elements 231-234 and 241-244 controlling transmission. Increased speed of response is achieved due to insertion of code converter 14 which enables proper control over transmission states (i.e. light and dark states) of elements 111-144 of screen 21 to be organized.
