FIELD: loads mounted on vehicle wheels. SUBSTANCE: device has stator and rotor of ac generator 5 installed coaxially to wheel; rotor shaft extension carries weight that functions to prevent rotor motion. Generator and light-emitting diodes 16 of lighting unit are placed in removable case that also functions as wheel guard. Light-emitting diodes are placed of front surface of case, interconnected in parallel and connected through diode 17 to generator stator winding leads. EFFECT: improved stability of motionless informative or decorative image on moving wheel, facilitated installation, and provision for combining functions of wheel guard and informative or decorative panel. 3 dwg
