FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to personal hygiene products, namely to absorbent products, and designed for people suffering incontinence. A disposable clothing - panties comprises an absorbent assembly attached to a frame. The absorbent assembly comprises an absorbent body which can contain superabsorbing particles. The absorbent assembly is folded side edge inside in cross direction to form transversally opposed side gates. Each side gate is attached to an internal surface of the absorbent assembly adjoining its tip edge. A longitudinally extended elastic lift element is attached to each side gate adjoining its proximal edge. When using a product, the elastic lift elements are shortened and lift the side gates with forming air-penetrable side barriers. The frame comprises a water-proof layer and can be extensible. The absorbent assembly can be attached by a crosswise pattern in such a manner that segments of the frame laying outside the attaching pattern, are not fastened to the absorbent assembly and thereby remain extensible.
EFFECT: invention allows to absorb and keep body discharges, the absorbent product provides edge protection by means of barrier foot cuffs and can be manufactured by more effective technique than common absorbent products containing separate elements of barrier foot cuffs.
