FIELD: transport engineering; steering gears. SUBSTANCE: steering gear has steering system and steering booster of front steerable wheels kinematically coupled with steering wheel through steering mechanism, and with steering system and steering booster of rear steerable wheels through variable length sleeve. With vehicle running at speed below critical value as to antiskid stability, variable length sleeve is locked by working fluid delivered by pump through flow divided and two position distributor. As a result, rear steerable wheels turn simultaneously with front wheels. At speeds higher than critical, spaces of variable length sleeve get interconnected. In this case, with front steerable wheels turning, rear steerable wheels will occupy neutral position until piston of variable length sleeve is shifted into extreme position thus providing delay in turning of rear steerable wheels relative to front wheels. EFFECT: improved reliability and safety. 2 dwg
