FIELD: freight slinging in manufacture of pipes, construction and other industries. SUBSTANCE: hollow band is produced on circular loom with ratio of linear density of warp and weft equalling 1:(0.18-1.78), cut into lengths of preset length. Then, ends of band lengths are lap-joined with longitudinal seam, sewn band is doubled to form loops, and they are secured by lateral seams. Relation of linear density of thread of longitudinal and lateral seams to linear, density of band warp is within 1:(0.56-1.00). Cover may be put on, both, loops and working surface of sling.
