FIELD: aviation.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to design and production of ribbon ropes for use as part of the external suspension of goods transported by helicopters. The external suspension ribbon rope for an aircraft contains a set of mono-rings (1), which are made of sections of the tape (10), connected into a ring and folded to form two loops along the edges of the rope. Each mono-ring (1) is equipped with overlays (11, 12, 13, 14), which are located on the end sections (2, 3) and reinforcements (4) overlapping the tape edge. The mono-rings (1) of the rope are assembled into a workpiece, nested one inside the other, while on one side of the workpiece there are parts of the mono-rings (1) equipped with reinforcements (4), which are located outside each mono-ring (1), and on the opposite side there are sections with overlaps. The section of the resulting workpiece with reinforcements (4) is turned 180° so that the reinforcements (4) are located on the inside of each mono-ring (1). Stitching of the end sections (2, 3) of the tape and reinforcement (4) with overlays (11, 12, 13, 14) is carried out with zigzag stitches (15), the workpiece is placed in the main case (5). Coils (8) are installed on both sides and thimble covers (6) are put on, connected to the main cover (5) using ties (9).

EFFECT: increase in the strength of the ribbon rope, increase of its service life, increase in reliability.
