FIELD: mineral fibers production. SUBSTANCE: invention concerns fibers manufactured from silicate melt based oh basalt-type rock and may find use when fabricating ultra-thin fibers via die-less process. Such fibers are obtained by way of boiling adobe (30-40%) and baked dolomite (20-30%)-containing rock (30-40%)blend wetted to 15-30% moisture content. EFFECT: simplified process. 2 cl, 2 tbl
