FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of preparing basalt raw material involves crushing initial basaltic rocks, leaching with 10-32% aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid at (20-100)°C for 1.5÷3.5 hours, separation of the liquid phase from the solution and drying. Leaching is done at ratio of liquid phase to the solid phase equal to 5÷10:1.
EFFECT: optimisation of content of separate basalt deposits with incidental extraction of precious components.
