FIELD: construction engineering; applicable in consolidation of cones of bridges, overpasses, road slopes, coast lines, water reservoir beds, etc. SUBSTANCE: method includes consolidation of embankment forming cone, laying of geotextile material, installation of geograting, filling of geograting with mineral material, securing of upper and lower parts of geograting with concrete, formation of concrete stop. Novelty consists in that panels of geotextile material are laid from top downward over surface of cone embankment with overlapping and its securing. Geograting is installed by separate sections sizing 5.25-7.0 per 1.0-2.5 m in stretched state. Geograting cells are filled with mineral material through all thickness of geograting by layers with mineral material, and then with soil. Then, geograting is secured with concrete in lower part over cone foot with formation of concrete stops. EFFECT: higher strength of consolidated surface, increased carrying capacity, resistance to wind and water erosion, increased service life of erected structures. 1 dwg
