FIELD: prospecting for mineral resources. SUBSTANCE: elastic vibrations are excited by interference sources with vibration radiators, Radiators are moved along profile, vibrations are recorded by group of site geophones with frequency filters. Step of movement of radiators is determined with use of highest frequency component of mutual correlation function so that difference of phases of recorded waves does not exceed 1/3 period of high-frequency component. Parameters of site groups of geophones are determined proceeding from highest frequency of radiated signal and seam velocity in area of recording of vibrations. EFFECT: enhanced resolution of recording in time when examining thin-layer complexly built geological sections.
