FIELD: nuclear engineering. SUBSTANCE: generator has column holding sorbent and radioisotope inside radiation shield and generator case, flange with seats placed above radiation shield, eluent, eluate, and bacterial air filter needles connected through flexible hoses with column, bacterial air filter, eluent tank, and switch. The latter is tour-way cock placed in seat of flange with eluent and bactericidal air filter needles communicating through flexible hoses with filter, eluent tank bottom and cover, and column inlet. Slide valve of switch has three locked positions relative to cock body: neutral, eluent tank or column, and bacterial air filter or tank cover, bacterial air filter or column. Eluent tank in the form of annular space, such as torus or double-wall cylinder is placed around radiation shield.
