FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: generator contains a column with a sorbent and a radioisotope, located inside the radiation shield and generator housing, an eluate needle connected by a tube to a column, a multi-way valve is equipped with a shift knob, and an air filter. The upper part of the column is closed with a lead stopper, the outlet tube is made of steel, which is the eluate line, is inserted into the lower part of the column, bends around its side, passes through the stopper, through an air filter fixed inside the upper part of the housing and is connected to an elution needle, put on the outlet fitting of the liquid filter. The inlet tube is made of steel, which is the eluent line, is inserted through the stopper into the upper part of the column and connected to the first fitting of the three-way valve, the air filter is put on the second fitting of the three-way valve, and a flexible hose is connected to the third fitting of the three-way valve to connect to the lower part of the tank with eluent.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of elution and output of the target radionuclide with increasing automation of the elution process.
