FIELD: sources of radioactivity, that is fluids incorporating radioactive component.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device has shielded chamber with hole to receive radioactive isotope container, chamber locking facility engageable with mentioned hole and capable of closing the latter, first fluid passage incorporating first hollow needle protruding into shielded chamber from its locking facility to afford fluid flow to mentioned container, second fluid passage incorporating second hollow needle protruding to shielded chamber from its closed end disposed against chamber locking facility to afford fluid flow to mentioned container, first and second compressible damping facilities mounted for at least partial gripping of first and second hollow needles, respectively, each of them forming outer surface for contacting opposite ends of mentioned container, and spacer member of desired thickness coupled with first or second compressible damping member or with each of them to afford desired positioning of mentioned container in shielded chamber.
EFFECT: enhanced in-service sterility and radiological shielding ability of radioisotope producer.
