FIELD: laser engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves first nonlinear conversion of radiation frequencies with separation of differential frequencies of adjacent modes, second nonlinear conversion of differential frequencies and separation of low-frequency radiation at frequencies equal to difference of two differential frequencies, and use of low-frequency radiation as control signal for synchronizing; first and second nonlinear frequency conversion is made beyond laser resonator, then low-frequency radiation obtained at frequencies equal to difference in two differential frequencies is amplified and supplied to pump source as control voltage for synchronizing modes. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 1 dwg
