FIELD: medicine; cardiology. SUBSTANCE: patient's mechanocardiogram is recorded synchronously with his (her) electrocardiosignals in orthogonal system of cardiac leads to thereby generate signal proportional to module of heart's spatial vector. Starting from moment, at which QRS complex appears, signal is issued beginning of ventricles' systole, first variable signal is generated that is numerically equal to value of signal proportional to integral of heart's spatial vector module. At moment of completion of QRS complex, second variable signal is generated, value of which is numerically equal to that of signal proportional to integral of heart's spatial vector module at exactly that moment. Ratio of difference between values of second and first variable signals to value of second variable signal is considered to be indicative of the myocardium's functional reserve that can be calculated in numerical units. EFFECT: myocardium's functional reserve can be evaluated non-invasively, without subjecting sick heart to test loads.
