HORIZONTAL SECTIONAL EXTRACTOR FOR VEGETAL RAW MATERIALS Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: food- processing industry and perfumery. SUBSTANCE: extractor has horizontal cylindrical sectional housing with cylindrical drum mounted on hollow perforated drive shaft which is brought in communication with extractant supply branch pipe blanked off on opposite end. Drum is provided with bead on its inner surface. Housing has diffuser section in its second compartment (in way of motion of material) and perforations made in form of supersonic nozzles in first compartment (in way of motion of material); extractor is provided with perforated stator embracing the cylindrical section of drum. Perforations of stator are provided with swirlers and are located over coaxial circles together with nozzles of drum in same planes at unequal and aliquant circumferential pitch. Extractor is also provided with device for supply of extractant under pressure which is connected with first compartment of housing by means of branch pipe, raw material supply branch pipe and extractant and oil cake discharge branch pipes.
