In case of open circuit fault in track pickup inductance coil or separation of pickup from rail web, positive potential appears across second output of comparator 3 and passes through fault signal shaper 5 to data input of multiplexer 6. At changing over of address inputs of multiplexer, long pulse formed in coding unit 10 is passed into communication line.
