FIELD: monocrystals for electronics. SUBSTANCE: method of preparing monocrystals for use in piezo- and pyroelectric areas includes dissolving initial oxides Sb2O3 and Nb2O5 in acidic solutions followed by growing crystals at high temperatures (130-175 C) and pressures (10-25 atm) in temperature gradient conditions. Solution components are sodium carbonate and bicarbonate solutions with concentration 9-12 and 10-14 wt % and their volume ratio from 2:0.5 to 3:0.7. Temperature gradient 1.2-1.5 C/cm and solid to liquid phase proportion from 1: 3 to 2:5 are maintained. EFFECT: ensured one-phase formation of SbNbO4 monocrystals at reduced temperatures and conducting process in pure crystallization medium. 2 cl, 1 tbl
