FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: thread tensioner has two plate tension members held in support device with radial clearance relative to each other by means of spring resilient devices such as permanent magnets. Plate tension members are installed in support device for rotation. Mechanical vibrations are supplied to tensioner support device by means of such devices as electromagnet, mechanical or other means. Vibrations act in axial direction relative to axis of rotation determined by rotation of plate tension members. Movement from support device and vibration excitation device are not transmitted to plate elements or transmitted but in small degree. Owing to vibration of support device adhesion friction between plate tension members and support device is overcome and contamination of contact surfaces between plate tension members and support device is prevented.
