FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: control member of automatic stepless transmission includes cam mechanism, variable-speed drive and turning levers. The latter are coupled with pushers of cam mechanism and carrier of variable speed drive, are provided with counterweights and can be furnished with positive turning independent drive. Cam mechanism has cams with active and brake sections of profiled surfaces. These sections are profiled to suit operating conditions of engine. Cams of cam mechanism can be formed by set of profiled surfaces arranged axially both in steps and smoothly changing one into the other. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 7 cl, 3 dwg
