FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of machine building and may be used for mechanical drives with both automatic and forced control of transmission ratio. Disc orbital variator comprises external (1) and internal (2) central friction discs. External discs (1) are fixed in body (23), and internal ones (2) - on input shaft (34) and are engaged with intermediate conical friction disc - satellites (3), which are installed on rotary levers (4). Ends of rotary levers (4), which are opposite to those, where satellites are fixed (3), are equipped with pusher-rollers (7), which are rolled along working surfaces of profile openings in control link (10), which is connected to variator output shaft (11). Rotary levers are spring-loaded relative to carrier so that satellites (3) under action of springs (6) speed to variator center, which corresponds to reduction of transmission ratio. Rotary levers (4) on rotary carrier (5) are connected to bushing (21) by means of mechanical joints that transform turn of rotary levers (4) into axial displacement of bushing (21). Bushing (21) is put in motion by means of lever-rocker mechanism (13).
EFFECT: provision of possibility to realise mode of operation with forced variation of transmission ratio, apart from automatic mode of operation.
