FIELD: sealing technology. SUBSTANCE: seal includes rubber ring whose surfaces are in contact with two walls of groove. Ring has continuous slot on its surface for spiral spring. Spring is so positioned that third wall should press spiral spring in direction of slot when parts are engagement, thus compressing the spring and adjusting the sealing force which is necessary to avoid unwanted distortion of groove walls.
