FIELD: superconducting devices; controlled delay lines, phase shifters, filters, etc. SUBSTANCE: microstrip line has semiconductor electrodes separated by insulating layer; novelty is that substrate of at least one electrode is made of ferrielectric possessing electrocaloric effect in operating temperature range of line which makes it possible to use mechanism of thermal percentage control of magnetic field penetration in superconductor electrodes to control dispersion characteristic of line. In order to apply voltage causing electrocaloric effect across ferroelectric substrate, one of line electrodes is used. Other electrode may be deposited on underside of ferroelectric layer. Hold-down electrode of electronic unit using microstrip line may function as second electrode of the latter. It is good practice to provide microstrip line with heat-insulating case for operation at low control frequencies. EFFECT: improved speed and effectiveness of control due to specific combination of heat source and substrate; enlarged functional capabilities. 4 cl, 3 dwg
