FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: maintenance method for servicing storage batteries in industrial premises using stationary maintenance devices involves charging and discharging of serviced batteries affording their cycling tests and conversion of electric energy obtained during battery discharge; novelty is that charging and discharging operations are made at a time and batteries are serviced for using power of discharged batteries to charge simultaneously serviced and charged batteries; to this end, power of batteries being discharged is periodically stored in special reactor and stored power is transmitted to batteries being charged. EFFECT: improved economic efficiency concerning electrical energy saving. 5 cl, 3 dwg
