FIELD: medicine; surgery; liver resection. SUBSTANCE: liver stump is sutured by fixing omentum graft by means of spheroidal sutures, apices of which are shifted as visceral sutures are applied from median line of organ's wound surface. If diaphragmatic suture are applied, apices are shifted closer to visceral line, each subsequent suture being overlapped by preceding one. EFFECT: new approach to hepatic surgery. 3 dwg
