FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: laser radiation surface is brought in contact with live tissue. Device has holder and optical fiber located in the latter. Optical fiber is positioned with its outgoing end in holder without clearance between fiber surface and holder. Holder serves as guide or support. At least part of holder is made of material which passes laser radiation. It is designed for laser radiation when irradiated place of live tissue is brought in contact with laser radiation surface in order to change it. Device has catch mounted on handle.
