VIBRATION EXCITER AND DEVICE FOR ITS ENGAGEMENT AND DISENGAGEMENT Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2092251 C1

FIELD: vibrating machinery. SUBSTANCE: this can be used in vibrating machines used for compaction of construction materials, for extracting models in moulding, etc. Unbalanced-type vibration exciter has hollow unbalanced weight partly filled with liquid and divided by partitions into spaces interconnecting between each other through holes made in partitions. Provided are members for adjusting cross-sectional area of holes. Device for engagement and disengagement of vibration exciter has seriesly connected: make contact, stop buttons, and contactor winding. Also introduced is vibration sensor with threshold characteristic. Vibration sensor has contact which is broken at vibration, and its parameters are below threshold of sensor operation. Sensor contact is seriesly connected with first of make contacts of contactor which is also connected to make contact of start button. Other make contacts of contactor are connected to power circuit for actuating electric drive of vibration exciter. Device automatically disengages electric drive when vibration drops down to preset low level or when it is discontinued. EFFECT: high efficiency. 2 cl, 3 dwg
