FIELD: mechanical engineering; conveyor transport; inclined conveyors. SUBSTANCE: conveyor belt vacuum catcher has actuating member installed with clearance under carrying belt in space between roller supports and made in form of chute with length smaller than distance between roller supports and with cross section whose shape follows shape of cross section of carrying belt. Actuating member is rigidly coupled with rods of cylinders installed on conveyor frame square to actuating member of catcher. Catcher has also vacuum building device and belt sag pickup with articulated lever mechanism. Vacuum building device is made in form of vacuum bottle. Cylinder rods are installed in guide bushings and are made hollow with through holes in walls with axes square to longitudinal axes of rods. Through holes made in walls of guide bushings are arranged higher than holes in rod walls and are placed in communication with above-piston spaces of cylinders which are connected by pipelines with vacuum bottle. Working member of shutoff cock of vacuum bottle is mechanically coupled with articulated lever mechanism of pickup. Surface of chute pointed to belt is lined with elastomer with higher friction properties and is provided with closed systems of channels in form of blind slots communicating with inner spaces of cylinder piston rods.
