FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: claimed method is suitable for utilization of both spent electrolysis bath lining and various slurries. Fluorine containing aluminium production waste is suspended in aluminium sulfate solution having concentration of 40-165 g/l, heated to 50-100 C and stirred for 0.5-4.0 hours till compound of alkali metals and fluorine become substentially liquid. Alumina-carbon fraction (solid residue) is then separated using one of well known methods, e.g. filtration, and washed with water. Aluminacarbon residue and fluoride solution are then subjected to treatment. EFFECT: more efficient treatment method. 1 tbl
