FIELD: devices for electrochemical treatment of liquids, in particular, applied electrochemistry. SUBSTANCE: device has a casing with holes for passage of liquid and two electrodes with an element of conducting material that is volumetrically permeable for liquid, and a power source. The element that is volumetrically permeable for liquid is made monolithic, continuously conducting and installed in the casing with formation of sealed closed cavities. One or both electrodes are electrically connected directly to the volumetrically permeable element. An additional hole for passage of liquid is made in the casing on the side of one or both cavities between the volumetrically permeable element and casing; one of the holes in each of the mentioned cavities is positioned in the lower part, and the other - in the upper part of the cavity. Holes for passage of liquid are made on the side of the surface of the volumetrically permeable element adjoining the casing, they are arranged lengthwise. The device may be furnished with one or more additional conducting elements permeable for liquid and arranged between the main volumetrically permeable element and one of the electrodes with formation of a sealed closed cavity with the casing. One or both electrodes are electrically connected to the adjacent volumetrically permeable element. One hole for passage of liquid may be made in the casing on the side of the cavities between the volumetrically permeable elements, and an additional hole for passage of liquid may be made on the side of one or several of these cavities or cavities between the elements and casing; one of the holes in each of the mentioned cavities is arranged in the lower part, and the other - in the other part of the cavity. The device may be furnished with one or more additional electrodes electrically connected to the surfaces of one or several volumetrically permeable elements, as well as with one or several hydrodynamic resistance regulators installed in the liquid flow ducts connected to the respective holes in the casing.
