FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: invention places attention on coatings for building concrete, reinforced concrete, and metal structures. Method includes preparation of surface of building structure and applying composition containing 1-10 wt % phosphate salt, 30-50 wt % hydrophlogopite, 5-10 wt % swelled perlite, and liquid glass with density 1.36-1.41 - the balance. According to invention, composition is applied by layers being alternated with mica layers: the first composition layer is coated by 0.5-1 mm fraction of mica, and the second one by 5-15 mm fraction. A mica layer is fixed by way of being covered with varnish. Composition layer thickness is 2-4 mm.
