FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: structural member made of sheet metal is used for manufacture of sectional construction panel and it has sheet metal partition with straight edge along one side and zigzag edge along other side. Zigzag edge creates widened areas and narrowed areas between widened areas. Partition goes normally in the form of triangle from one narrowed area through widened area to next narrowed area. Edge formations are created around zigzag edge portions of partition. Connecting devices at top of each widened area of partition can be attached to construction material. Also brought forth in description are construction panels containing aforesaid structural members, method for production of structural members, their joining, and method for erection of buildings with utilization of such structural members.
