FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this method can be used for reconstruction of buildings and structures with increasing their width and height. According to method, roof is dismantled together with disassembly of internal partitions and service systems. Erected over outer perimeter of building or structure is additional load-bearing structure based on preliminarily constructed foundations. Used as this additional structure is three- dimensional supporting-rod framework made up of separate modules. Framework is erected with clearance relative to existing walls and as it is being erected, floors are made in aforesaid clearances connecting them with existing floors though deformation joints. Flooring of high addition to existing building is made in the form of continuous rigid disk after erection of external walling on new framework surface. EFFECT: high efficiency. 1 cl, 4 dwg
