FIELD: wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: materials to be dried are placed in one or in several drying chambers equipped with device for supply of dry air and evacuation of moist used air. Several sets of members are arranged in individual drying chamber; they are arranged at distance from one another forming great number of separate sections. Members are movable, rotatable for example to regulate them between first position where width of individual section exceeds width of wooden blanks or articles in order to ensure free delivery to section and second position where width of section is reduced so that members of two adjacent sets are engageable pressing wooden articles, thus excluding their deformation during drying.
