FIELD: computer and instrumentation engineering, electronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: electronic units 1 and 2 to be connected are terminating into contact pads 3 each connected to conductors 4. Elastic dielectric tapes 5 are connected to units 1, 2 to be joined. Each tape 5 carries teeth 6 and 7 of first and second types, respectively, arranged at definite pitch and forming two opposing sets. First-type teeth 6 are made so that their convex and concave conducting surfaces 8 and 9, respectively, are separated by dielectric layer 10 and connecting conductors 4 are connected to conduction surfaces 8 and 9 and passed through tape 5. Second-type teeth 7 are made of optically transparent dielectric material and also have convex and concave surfaces 11 and 12, respectively, on their opposite sides with optical axis crossing their centers. Optical radiation source 13 and receiver 14 are inserted inside second-type teeth 7 and placed on optical axis; source 13 can radiate towards concave surface 12 of tooth 7 and receiver 14 can receive radiation penetrating from convex side 11 of tooth 7. Sources 13 and receivers 14 inserted inside teeth 7 are connected to contact pads 3 of units 1, 2 to be joined by means of conductors 4 passed through tapes 5. Hollow U-shaped runner is placed on one of sets; it is built up of two halves 16, 17 connected by delta-shaped jumper 18 separating spaces 19 and 20 of runner 15. As runner 15 moves in one direction along set of teeth 6, 7, passing through runner spaces 19, 20, opposing sets of teeth 6, 7 get interlocked.
