DEVICE FOR DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF AFFECTED TISSUE OF THE SPINAL CORD Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61N1/05

Abstract RU 2804211 C1

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: used as a device implanted into the epidural space for stimulation treatment of traumatic and degenerative injuries of the spinal cord. The device contains a catheter 1 in the form of an extended optically opaque polymer tape of a semicircular cross-section with a distal 2 and proximal 3 sections, onto which planar electrically conductive lines 4-12 are applied, forming a tire. A polymer dielectric film 13 with microstrip film electrodes 14 made of a conductive biochemically stable material in an amount of at least seven is applied to the working surface of the distal section 2. On the front surface of the distal section 2, sources of EHF radiation 15, optical radiation of the corresponding ranges of optical radiation: violet 16, blue 17, green 18, red 19, as well as receivers 20 are placed in the corresponding cradle. Radiation sources 15-19 and radiation receivers 20 are connected to electrically conductive lines of the bus 4-12. Electrically conducting lines 4-12 are connected to the pulse amplitude modulator 25 of the control unit 23.

EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of diagnosis and treatment of the spinal cord.
