FIELD: drying equipment in chemical, food-processing, microbiological and related branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves heating product placed in vacuum chamber by radiant flux with maximum spectral intensity within wave length range corresponding to maximum absorptive capacity of water and maximum reflective capacity of dry product. Emitters having respective spectral characteristics are effective only under vacuum conditions. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and improved quality of dried product.
