FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has receiving and transmitting emitters mounted in spectacles, receiving and transmitting units being connected to a power supply source and warning signal generation unit being connected to the receiving unit output. Spectacle glasses have internal and external parts making a closed cavity, each part being made from a transparent material with coating selectively absorbing the emitted wave length being applied to their inner surfaces. The transmitting emitter and the transmitting unit are mounted on the inner surface of the external part of one of the glasses, the latter being electromagnetic radiation source enclosed into dielectric tubule fixed above the light-transparent window made in the absorbing coating. The receiving emitter and receiving unit are mounted on the inner surface of the external part of the other glass. Optical filter transparent to the emitted wave length makes input to the emitter and is fixed above the opening in the absorbing coating transparent to the emitted wave. The warning signal generation unit is set in the plane of the spectacles. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in helping the blind persons to find orientation in the surrounding space. 6 cl, 3 dwg
