FIELD: preparation of seadromes for takeoff and landing of seaplanes. SUBSTANCE: position of runway is determined within seaplane basin by wind direction, then markers are installed and runway is inspected and cleaned of foreign material. Position of runway is determined for seadrome wherein height of waves is minimum; for installation of markers, inspection and cleaning of runway, use is made of hovercraft which runs in front of seaplane before its takeoff and after landing.
